WhoEveryone is invited to support Parker's House by joining in Parker's Walk. No one is required to raise any money - just show your support by showing up at the statue of Washington Duke on the East Campus of Duke University at 9am on Saturday, October 16 - then join in and walk with us. WhatParker's Walk is an event to raise awareness and provide funding for Parker's House, a transitional home for a Durham, NC homeless family. Residents live at Parker's House for a period of time long enough to develop sustainable independence and return to permanent housing. You can show your support for Paker's House in three ways: Either way you choose to participate, you will be helping a family get back on their feet following a period of homelessness. When & WhereParker's Walk will be held Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 9am. Meet at the statue of Washington Duke on Duke's East Campus.
