Current Needs:
Parker’s House currently has a family in residence and there
are several items that would be helpful:
Lamps
1 Chest of drawers
A Windows XP/Vista PC powerful enough for homework, basic office work and internet use
(we already have a monitor)
1 End table
1 Bedside table
Walmart or Food Lion gift cards
Donations:
There are four ways to donate to Parker's House. We appreciate
your thoughtfulness in making a decision to support us in this ministry.
- We welcome donations of new or gently used household items. If you would like to
make a donation of goods, please send an
Email and we will work with you on delivery or pick up arrangements.
- Walmart or Food Lion gift cards make a great donation that goes directly to the
family to be used as a supplement to their grocery money. Cards are distributed on
a cyclical basis and you will receive an e-mail or or postal note letting you know when your
donation was given to the resident family. If you would like to donate a gift card,
please send an
Email and we can send you all the information that will help you make your
donation.
- Family Sponsor - Your monetary donation is used toward one of the utility
payments (electricity, water, etc.). This is an excellent way for your organization
to become involved. Whether it is a Sunday School class, a civic organization or
an extended family - your sponsorship of a utility payment (for $50 or $100 per month)
will ensure that one less homeless family will be on the streets. If you are interested

Email and we can work out arrangments.
- House Sponsor - Your one-time monetary donation will be used to purchase needed
supplies and repairs for Parker's House. An example would be a plumbing repair,
a new bed frame, a supplementary air conditioner, etc. We've even used one generous donation
for a day of fun for our resident family at Emerald Pointe Water Park! When you make a
one-time monetary donation, you will always receive an email or postal note letting you know
when and how your donation was used. If you would like to make a one-time monetary gift, please

Stewardship:
Parker's House is an all-volunteer organization, so 100% of your
donation goes directly to the expenses of the family currently in residence or in the general
house fund used for maintenance and repairs. We track donations closely, so you can request
an audit of your donation at any time and we can tell you what it was used for, what it
is scheduled for, or when the family received it (in the case of gift cards).
